My name is Ian Falloon, and for more than forty years I have been writing about motorcycles. What started out as magazine articles soon evolved into my first book, The Ducati Story, in 1996. Since then I have published more than 55 books on motorcycles, concentrating primarily on European marques like Ducati, BMW, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Laverda and Triumph, but also Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. While I still write complete histories, my particular interest is in motorcycles from the late 1960s through to the 2000s. Aesthetics and individuality typified motorcycles from this era and it encompasses some of the most beautiful and exciting motorcycles ever built.

Why subscribe?

I will be publishing an article every week on a variety of historical motorcycle related topics. This will include the discussion of various iconic models and a look at some of the important people that have shaped motorcycling over the past 50 years.

As a paid subscriber, you will have access to subscriber-only posts and a fortnightly Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) thread, where I will answer your questions on all things motorcycles. It’s $8/month or $80/year.

There is also a founding member option, for $650/year. Under this plan, you will receive a signed edition of one of my self-published books every year, and you will be able to schedule a 1-hour video call with me on a subject of your choice.
